The Recruiter will work collaboratively with all brands and the HR team to coordinate and implement effective recruitment and retention process and efficiently and effectively fulfill the full cycle recruitment process; draft job descriptions, post positions, screen resumes and candidates, schedule interviews, coordinate and deliver onboarding, maintain employee files and track and analyze the recruitment statistics.

The Recruiter will represent the Company by fostering awareness and an employer of choice with the foal of attracting and retaining the ideal candidates; represent the Company at job fairs and develop pools of candidates for various positions, build partnerships with universities and co-op programs to strengthen out future talent streams, network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees, attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.

This role requires some offsite travel to career fairs and our other offices, and TCP school.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience
  • Experience within the construction or traffic control industry considered an asset
  • Experience with HRIS/ ATS (we use BambooHR)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail orientated and committed to quality
  • Passionate, drive and authentic
  • Demonstrate success in full-cycle recruitment
  • Ability to think outside of the box to come up with creative and effective recruitment initiatives
  • Self-motivated and proactive
