The WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 1 course is an 8 hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks and is designed to provide life-saving first aid skills to workers in industry. Successful candidates must demonstrate competency in practical skills and achieve 70% or higher on a multiple choice exam. Certification is valid for three years.

The Construction Safety Officer Training program provides a deeper understanding of the Worker Compensation Act and the Occupation Health and Safety Regulations and a way to effectively apply it on the job.

This Fall Protection course will provide participants with an understanding of their responsibilities when working in areas where fall hazards exist, the use of and inspection of the required equipment and the critical controls necessary to reduce the risk of a fall.

JHSC IS A COURSE AIMED AT HELPING PARTICIPANTS TO IDENTIFY AND INTERPRET JOINT HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE MEMBER FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES AND TO CARRY OUT THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES TO PROMOTE WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY.

Once completed, each graduating student is issued a three-year certificate that allows them the ability to work anywhere in BC as a Traffic Control Person.

ONCE COMPLETED, EACH GRADUATING STUDENT IS ISSUED A THREE-YEAR CERTIFICATE THAT ALLOWS THEM THE ABILITY TO WORK ANYWHERE IN BC AS A TRAFFIC CONTROL PERSON.
